The lecture will concentrate on methodological and policy issues related to the study of the nature of things in the urban contexts. Why a thing is as it is? Where does it comes from? How the form, the aesthetics, the shape of thing influence social relations? Which research perspective are opened by the study of the cultural nature of things?
